Amaya has confirmed an agreement to sell its subsidiaries, Cryptologic and formerly known Chartwell Technology, to NYX Gaming Group for a total of €111.3 million.
Gaming Intelligence reported this deal back in February and it has been confirmed this April.
NYX had previously acquired from Amaya the gaming company’s Ongame Network B2B poker network, hence they were granted priority to acquire Amaya Inc. Upon closing this deal, NYX will have a six year preferred supplier agreement with a subsidiary of Amaya to provide casino gaming content for the brand Amaya Casino.
Amaya Casino will be integrated into Poker Stars and Full Tilt casino sites and thanks to this deal will have an extensive games portfolio by NYX, Chartwell and Cryptologic.
From NYX side, they have said that this arrangement would allow them to grow their clients base from 130 to more than 170 and they will be able to expand its game portfolio from 350 games to 650.
